Still once more a really good result with my photo of the burned heath and the budding den!
This image also came in the prices in the 'GDT European Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2015' award and got, as with the "Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2015' award, a highly commended' in the category plants. A acknowledgment that this image manages to convince among all the entries from around the world .
The jury did a good job and the result shows once again what a high-level nature photography have and for me this award is equivalent to the prestigious 'Wildlife Photographer of the Year' award. Congratulations to all the other winning photographers!

Bio Photo Contest 2015

In 2007 I made this image in the marshlands of the Fulufjället National Park in Sweden. The early morning light let the beautiful fall colors reflecting in the water, photographed with 500 mm lens. This image has been awarded by the jury as one of the 'highly commended' of the 'Bio Photo Contest 2015' with the theme 'Rivers, lakes, marshes and lagoons'. Species Conservation Calendar 2016

My image of a puffin is one of the photos, which adorns these special bilingual (English and German) calendar. The 'Species Conservation Calendar 2016' (Mondberge-Artenschutzkalender 2016) is a special calendar which is strictly limited and highly recommended for anyone who wants to have a special calendar in the house. Absolutely all profit goes to wildlife conservation projects!
This calendar convinces among others by excellent printing technology and special finishing - making it a unique visual and haptic experience. In this calendar is also a removable, specially designed leaflet integrated with information about the species and the "making-of" of each image
