Category winner at 'GDT Nature Photographer of the Year 2024'

I was pleasantly surprised that my image 'Common Arrowhead' was awarded by the 'GDT Nature Photographer of the Year 2024' competition. But that it finally even ended up as the winner of the category 'Plants and Fungi', I hadn't expected at all! Congratulations to all the other winners.

This image was taken in the summer of 2020 very near to my home in the Netherlands, on the outskirts of my village, by the stream 'Groote Aa'. .
